15th December, 2019

Dear friends,

Later today, Sunday, I shall be travelling back to Uganda hopefully arriving in Entebbe about 2 pm on Monday afternoon.

A number of our boys have returned to their families for the Christmas holidays. Bob took eight of them to their villages on Thursday, which must have been a long drive for him in the minibus. Four other boys were taken into Kampala and travelled by local taxis. Victor’s mum made the long journey to George’s Place and collected him to stay with her for a few weeks. Simon Peter also went to see his mother and brother one afternoon, unfortunately, her accommodation is not suitable for him to stay with her.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

George’s Place must be much quieter at the moment but I’m looking forward to seeing the boys there and catching up with all their news.

On Saturday they were able to visit KK Beach and enjoyed themselves.

Just a few photos from this week.

Thank you to everyone for all your love, kindness, encouragement, support, interest and commitment to our work, we are humbled by your generosity and really appreciate all your prayers, especially for the boys who seem to be growing up fast!

With love and prayers,

Jane
