7th May, 2017

Dear friends,

I am enjoying a ‘cool’ restful time in the UK but wanted to share with you the good news, that we have received our NGO status in Uganda for another five years.  Bob collected the certificate on Friday.  He has also reported that a number of our boys are visiting their relatives and sent some photos which I thought you might like to see.

We are giving praise and thanks to God for so many blessings – we have Spurs football kits that I shall be taking back, 18 pairs of new football boots and many Tshirts!  We are certainly being blessed.

‘Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvellous things.’ Psalms 98 v1

Just a reminder as well about the ‘Quartets and Cake Concert’, at 3pm on the 21st May, at Jesus Church, Forty Hill.  If you can possibly let Chris Bachelor know beforehand if you are coming along that would be helpful. christinebachelor@gmail.com

Jackie who visited me in Uganda for a couple of weeks at the end of January will be talking about our work and hopefully, one or two Ugandan ladies who have visited George’s Place will be there as well.  I have seen the programme and am sorry that I shall have to miss what looks like being a lovely occasion. Many thanks to all who are involved in the performing and organisation of the event.

With love and prayers.

Jane
