Our Boys
Our boy’s stories
I have been writing weekly ‘newsletter/blogs’ for the last five years and sharing with you the work of Homes of Promise. We now have 30 boys in our care and although I mention a number of them every week it is not always easy to remember each one’s story.
“How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” Psalms 36:7
My son James, who produced our website and updates it regularly, also has difficulty remembering ‘who’s who’ of the boys and has suggested that I write up short biographies on the boy’s backgrounds and lives since they have been in our care.
I do hope this will be a helpful resource for you, especially as I know many of you pray for them.
This week I began with Tim – not his real name (many of our boys changed their names when they went onto the streets). Next week I will tell you about Simon Peter.
