Dear friends, I’ve been away this week in Dubai. I have met up with some of my family and have enjoyed a restful time sitting on the beach, swimming, playing cards, reading, kayaking with my granddaughter and relaxing.
On Wednesday evening I went into Dubai to meet Karo, (whom I’ve known for a long time now), Alex and Jenny (Emirates crew who stayed with me in Kampala) Praveen and Rishika who I met in Dubai in 2019 and Philip and Fiona who have supported our work for many years, we went to their home and had a delicious curry that Fiona had prepared. It was a lovely evening of fellowship, I had hoped to join them on Sunday at City Lights Church but the church is a long way from where we are staying and although Praveen offered to collect me everyone is busy – they had 3,000 people at their Christmas services.
