Back to school, Dan returns, Tim has malaria
Sunday 21st September 2025
Dear friends,
The boys are all back at school. Tresor called me when he was dropping Musumba off on Monday morning and I spoke to Musumba, Victor and Yusuf who were escorting him! Tresor then took Brian back to school and Sula, Victor and Saviour to college.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”Galatians 5:22/23
The new boys Moses and Robert seem to be settling in to Little Angels. Your prayers please for all the boys as they return to school/college, especially for the new boys.
Updates
- Tresor sent me photos of Saviour who had been working at Makindye Country Club serving coffee after the church service on Sunday.
- The younger boys had been to Worship Harvest church and Bethel came back with a picture of what they had been learning.
- Dan’s dad brought him back on Monday so he missed the first day of school but he is fine and seemed happy to be back. Books and pencils were sent back with the dad for Shila and George, we will send their school fees direct to the school.
- The older boys all received their school/college requirements on Sunday afternoon and the young ones were given new vests, socks and pants, Moses and Robert also received uniforms, bags, water bottles etc.
- Kodet is doing his S4 exams this term and has been studying hard during the holidays.
On Friday afternoon I spoke to all the young boys and also Tim who has malaria and is staying at George’s Place, he looked very unwell and although wanting to return to where he stays with his friends I think he is better in the home where Benard can make sure he is taking his long term medication and eating properly.
The young ones were all fine, enjoying being back at school and looking forward to going swimming on Saturday. It was good to see and talk to them all.
I also spoke to Tresor, Benard and Patrick who is having a week’s holiday next week. Benard has his weekend off towards the end of the month and Steven will be working then.
Thank you for all your prayers, support and kindness and I look forward to seeing some of you on 2nd November.
Love Jane x
