Dear friends,

There was great excitement this week at George’s Place when a new ludo board was delivered – the old one had worn out with so much use! The replacement board is already being well used. When I spoke to them on Saturday morning even Halima the cook had been pressurised into a game!

Peace travelled to Mbale to talk with Emma and his grandfather- unfortunately, the elderly man is very unwell. She did take him a food parcel. Emma will be coming back shortly to resume his welding apprenticeship as we look into where he will settle in the future.

‘I have swept away your offences like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.’ Isaiah 44 v22

All the boys are keeping well, enjoying homeschooling and although the churches are not yet opened they can now play football and get outside for some exercise.

I have received a request for food and clothes from a children’s home in the north of Uganda- I have asked Shadrach to look into the authenticity of the request as we always check organisations before we help in any way.

Please be praying for the people of Uganda, I believe families are really struggling in the villages and poorer areas of the city – life can be difficult for mothers trying desperately to feed their children.

With love and prayers.

Jane
