Dear friends,

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you this afternoon.

There has been little news from Kampala this week. Trésor has only sent me a few photos of the boys which David, will kindly attach.

Ram went back to the dentist for the third time and I’ve been told they used ‘cement’ for his root canal treatment – I presume it’s for the crown. Ian called in to George’s Place on Saturday as the boys didn’t go for football or swimming – I think they might be in trouble – so am looking forward to finding out what has happened when I get back on Wednesday (I leave Tuesday afternoon).

‘And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.’ Philippians 4 v 19/20

Peace has been busy sorting out the paperwork for our Children’s Home Approval application as our present one, runs out in November, she now has the Health Inspection Report – hopefully it won’t take too long to reregister.

The boys are all back at school and I’ve managed to get a copy of a book Johnson has asked me for, called ‘The Simple Path to Wealth’. He and his friends at school are obviously interested in investment strategies, it also talks about work-life balance – I think some of our boys may go far!

I sent off a large box for shipment this week, I went to the shipping agents on Wednesday but it was Eid ul Fitr (the end of Ramadan) and Ayoub wasn’t working, I left all the items at the shop and went back the following day to help pack everything up, weigh and pay. I’m planning to return again on Monday to take last minute items for shipment.

Benard and Trésor are attending a Living Wisdom Course, for two days, this coming week, run by Joan Koskela from Australia (recommended by Ian) which I hope they will find useful.

I’ve enjoyed my time here but the six weeks has gone really quickly, it’s been wonderful catching up with so many of you. Thank you for all your love, prayers, kindness and interest in our work. We give thanks to The Lord who has been blessing and changing these boys lives through your support.

With love and prayers
