Dear friends,

Wishing you all an Easter filled with peace and joy.

This week the staff at Homes of Promise have been busy visiting the boys at vocational colleges and secondary schools. Peace went and visited Victor and Saviour who are at Connect Africa on a catering course, both have settled well and the staff are particularly pleased with them.

Tresor went and visited Griffin, Joseph and Yusuf (Joseph) at Don Bosco. Yusuf seems to have settled in well and is enjoying his agricultural course. From the photos I presume Tresor took them out for a meal! (Griffin also doing catering and Joseph on a course for plumbing and metal fabrication.)

‘Hallelujah’ ‘Christ is risen’. ‘He is risen indeed.’

Petra has visited Kodet at school and Bernard went to Little Angels where Joshua is in boarding, studying for P7. Johnson has arrived back at George’s Place for a week’s holiday, but none of the other boys in boarding have been allowed an Easter break. I believe all the boys in boarding have been sent some pocket money so that they can buy some special food for today.

I’ve had a quiet week at a retreat centre in Sussex and missed some of the calls from the boys and staff, so have very little news. The younger boys all went to play football on Good Friday as there was a match arranged by the Football Academy. Ram had to return to the dentist and has two more appointments booked!

I am planning to talk with the boys at George’s Place this coming Monday. Thank you for all your love and support for our work. I am returning to Uganda on 16th April.
